This a wonderful example of what can be done with modern acrylics. The pen is a general dark green but is highlighted by patches of bight shimmering chatoyance that seems to light up the pen. It makes the pen come alive in your hand and it can transform even the most mundane writing chore into something more cheerful. That's high praise for a pen. Pens are just tools after all is said and done, but we do get to choose which tools we use. In the pen marketplace, there are many contenders at this pricepoint and it takes something special to single one out. This is where the Levenger True Writer series steps in. They are a quality pen brand, makers of some very good pens with classic designs in some amazing acrylics. Many people collect them for a reason. The build quality is there and so is the look. The pen is something to behold. The pictures on the website just do not do it justice. It is well worth the expense. It has the pedigree. You will love it. I do.

This pen looks nothing lije the picture. It is very dark green and blue with very little variation in color. Not at all attractive, which is disappointing because i usually love my Levenger pen purchases.
