Great litter box

I have several of the Modkat litter boxes and the high side versions are great for the kitties who aim high when peeing. They are all easily accessed for cleaning with the flip top lids and the liners are easily changed. The only drawback I have found to this system is the liners. Sometimes the liners have a very smooth surface and the litter scoop slides effortlessly along the bottom. But other times the liners seem to have a rougher texture as though the litter wants to snag on the liner surface and the scoop has to fight its way through the litter at the bottom. This is true even if there is no mess in the box. I don’t know what would cause this type of issue except that the finish on the material must differ by batches. But design of the litter box is awesome and I will likely purchase more of them for the multiple cat household we have.

We own the original ModKat, and have used it for 7 years. Now that our cats are older, we decided to upgrade to this version for the front entry option. We are in LOVE with this litter box. and so are the cats!

Great product. The high sides keep all the action on the inside, where we want it. The liners are good quality and hold up well with routine cleaning. This is exactly what I was hoping for.
