Lost In Flowers Oil

I decided to buy the 1.25mL mini bottle of perfume oil of Lost in Flowers, and the first time I put it on, I was surprised and bowled over by the intensity. I couldn't recall smelling champaca before, and the "green banana" was my only frame of reference as I tried to understand what I was smelling in Laudamiel's composition. The tagetes, marigolds, were a potent reminder of my childhood. My first impression of the muguet (lily of the valley) was also overpowering and I remember thinking that I wished the perfumer, Christophe Laudamiel, had left it out of the composition entirely. I am so glad that I tried this sample again on clean skin the next day, because that changed everything for me. After my first wearing, I went to bed that night and the thought crossed my mind that Lost in Flowers may have been distorted by other things I was already wearing on my skin, because I applied it at the end of the day as soon as I received my order in the mail. The next day, I showered with unscented shower gel and reapplied Lost in Flowers, and fell hopelessly in love with the composition. I am obsessed with it, and I have put it on every day since then! I have two other full bottles that I bought after months and years of deliberation, and I have not even touched those bottles since trying Lost in Flowers. It is all I want to wear. It literally brings a tear to my eye when I smell it, that's how intense and gorgeous this fragrance is. It feels like being fêted at an incredibly opulent event in paradise, surrounded by extravagant tropical gardens and receiving overflowing honeyed bouquets in your arms, crowns and garlands of the utmost beauty being lavished upon your head, arms, neck, and wrists. Stunning in absolutely every way. Christophe Laudamiel is a genius. My next purchase will be a full bottle of the EdP, which other reviewers have said lasts even longer than the oil.

Received a sample and I am absolutely floored. The scent is amazing. The name is so befitting. I already had other perfumes on because I had sampled everything in my order. This scent over powered all the others in a delightfulr way. Too be honest, I will buy a full bottle, but not for a while. Just a dab has the sillage of 3 sprays of Vanilla Powder Extrait, and the longevity Amouage Guidance. What an amazing pleasant oil!!! I Thank you for the sample. Edit: The sample was $68!! :-( I still love it though!!
