Very Pretty Smell
On first smell, along with the other decants, this one did not really stand out too much to me.
It does kind of remind me of an old friend's house, not sure if it was their detergent or bathroom cleaning.
It's a nice calming powdery woody smell. Nothing too crazy projection or sillage wise.
On my second wear, I really enjoyed it. Considering picking up a full bottle.

My Have to Have Diptyque Orpheon
After reading that Orpheon, by Diptyque was a highly praised fragrance, I ordered a sample, and absolutely fell in love with it. It is irresistible, earthy, comforting, and just wants to be on your skin. It has a woody, fig vibe, which is not my normal go-to scent profile.
I do like Eau Capitale, but Orpheon is in a class by itself. I have not smelled another fragrance that even comes close to duping it. Orpheon is a masterpiece formulation, in my opinion. I love it so, and will keep buying it.

Orphéon opens with a soft sparkle—juniper berries giving it that slightly gin-like, aromatic lift—paired with a clean, almost powdery brightness. It quickly shifts into something more atmospheric: a blend of jasmine and that unmistakable “cosmetic powder” vibe, like vintage makeup in a dimly lit room. There’s a subtle warmth underneath, but it never feels heavy—more like the air in a bar where wood, smoke, and perfume all blur together.
As it dries down, the woodiness takes over—cedar and tonka bean adding a smooth, slightly creamy depth that sits close to the skin. It becomes softer, more intimate, like a memory rather than a presence. The whole scent feels nostalgic but not dated—clean, powdery, and quietly sensual. It’s not loud or attention-grabbing; it’s more about mood and atmosphere, like stepping into a cool, smoky Paris night and just existing in it.
