2 AM in Lafayette

I LOVE this perfume. I am a gourmand lover, and this is my absolute favorite scent ever. I had previously purchased the oil base and was concerned the alcohol base would smell different, but the scents are identical! The spray is incredibly strong and longlasting, too. The packaging is adorable and the little written notes and samples that come with orders are an amazing bonus! Definitely worth the price.

Give It Time . . .

I first ordered a 15ml of this via LuckyScent (because sometimes I'm impatient), but also ordered directly from Sorce. When I first tried it (the LuckyScent order, right after it was delivered), I got a very strong sour (almost spoiled) coffee scent. It dried down to something that was a bit more tolerable but I couldn't shake the sourness. I was heartbroken, because based on the fragrance notes and reviews I just knew I would like it. I did a bit more digging and learned that sometimes fragrance needs time to rest after transport, so I've been letting it sit for more than a week. I tried it again a couple of days ago and it smelled so much better on me. I also used it as a base layer, and on top of it sprayed In Dreams and Fairy Tales (Vanilla), which worked beautifully with it. In addition to the coffee scent (which isn't nearly as sour now), I'm getting caramel, butter, and another element of sweetness that's incredibly comforting and DELICIOUS. For me, I think this will be one that just needs to sit for some time before use. Depending on how that goes, I'll either wear it on its own or layer it with another scent. When I get my incoming Sorce order, I'll let this one mellow for a bit before diving in.

absolutely gorgeous scent. genuinely one of my new faves, and my absolute favorite from Sorce. smells like a creamy caramel latte. yum!
