This little beauty isn't made for hauling in 16" to 20" lunkers but on small streams draging in 4" to 8" beautiful Brookies this thing rocks and helps you enjoy catching to 4" jewels. It is truly a Mini but has a great feel and colapses down to a handfull, I love it!

Absolutely loving the new rod. My first tenkara rod, and I have 25 years of traditional fly fishing experience. The rod, lines, and accessories are all great quality and feel amazing and fun to fish. Also a note, I got the tiny talon for its portability as I travel a lot for work. But an added bonus is the small size allows my 8 year old daughter to easily handle it and is learning how to cast and loves it!

I'm a first-time Tenkara rod owner. I have not used the rod yet, so I can't speak to its casting and fish fighting characteristics. I've been an avid fly fisherman for over 30 years owning $60 to over $600 rods, and the Tiny Talon rod's (and rod tube and sock) quality is easily worth its cost. I'm very pleased with the quality, and look forward to using this rod as I enter the world of Tenkara fishing.
