Great Action

First trip to the river was a fantastic experience. The action on this rod is smooth and responsive. Spent most of the day enjoying the soft presentation of my fly to the trout in the Tacoa River.

Needs better design

Not a lot of thought went into this design. The cover tip that comes with the rod will not fit when even the line keepers are in place. I had to design a tip cover out of pvc pipe. Also the sock that comes with the rod is so poorly designed it is very difficult to get on and off. My wife is making me a new sock. The rod works well, but I am disappointed with the lack of forethought that went into its design.

Size Isn't Everything!

This little beauty isn't made for hauling in 16" to 20" lunkers but on small streams draging in 4" to 8" beautiful Brookies this thing rocks and helps you enjoy catching to 4" jewels. It is truly a Mini but has a great feel and colapses down to a handfull, I love it!
