Great service and price. I spent some time researching what to buy and had settled on a Rancilio Silvia Pro X. Then I looked around to find suppliers. I had some questions (about which grinder) and Cieran responded quickly with clear, helpful advice and offered to match an existing website bundle price with slightly different colour combinations. I placed the order on Friday and expected delivery on Tuesday. However, it actually arrived on the Monday from Parcelforce. Both products were very well packaged. The original Rancilio packaging for the Silvia had additional foam buffers added and it was packed into an additional outer box. Unfortunately, when I set it up on Saturday there was a problem - there was no water coming through the group head. I did some research and tried a few things, but thought it may be something more serious. A lengthy conversation with ChatGPT concluded that is was almost certainly a faulty control board, and it had confidently ruled out other problems such as the pump or the thermostats. I sent an email to Home Coffee Machines on Sunday explaining the problem and asking advice. Cieran replied later that day explaining that there are two pumps and it is possible (even likely) that one of the control connectors had become loose and fallen off during shipping. He reassured me that opening the case to check would not void the warranty. I did this, and he was right (and ChatGPT wrong!). One of the controls had fallen off so I was able to reattach it and the machine now works well. I was very impressed with the service, and the diagnosis. It was in nobodies interest to ship the whole thing back when I could try a simple test and fix first. The whole process has been excellent and I would thoroughly recommend them again. While their prices were also the best, the service really stands out.
