works great, then it dies
I've had my unit since November 2024 and it has worked great. I used it withe the stock burrs and was able to fine tune it for a great espresso grind. Now on July 2026, the unit failed to start, as it did daily for over a year. Now it is simply dead, there seems to be a slight humming of the motor when I plug it in, but no signs that it will come back to life.

Very Solid Well-Designed Grinder - Highly Recommended Purchase
I wanted a small footprint single-dose grinder with solid engineering and whisper quiet operation - that’s exactly what I got with the Turin DF64V Gen 3 grinder. This is a beautiful addition to my other kitchen appliances, and after only a few weeks and less than 2 lbs of beans to season the burrs, I’m already more than satisfied with the quality of the grind and the espresso shots I’ve been producing. I expect that the grind quality will continue to improve as I run more beans through it and properly season the burrs, but I have no complaints with what I’m getting during the break-in period. I especially appreciate that this grinder was designed to be easily disassembled for cleaning and maintenance. I also found that the active ionizer/plasma generator performs so well that I no longer need to use the RDT method to reduce static. I look forward to many years of use with this highly recommended grinder!

Very prone to stalling even on medium grind range settings.
