The Rocks

These glasses look amazing, elegant design, thin and lightweight. But the durability is a problem, I put a large ice cube in this “rocks” glass and the bottom shattered immediately. Smaller ice cubes works with no issue, but be extremely careful when placing the ice in the glass

Elegant

A year ago I bought the smaller of the two and returned them as they were simply too small. I recently bought the DOF. Still small, but very, very elegant. Dishwasher friendly. One issue is that I like a big rock for my cocktail and when adding a spherical rock to the glass it's very awkward because the rock is almost as wide as the glass. Recently I did this and the ice slipped and fell the last inch or so into the glass and punched through the bottom of the glass. Now I lay the glass on it's side and basically roll the ice into it. I suspect it's something that I will get used to over the course of time. While I still find them small, I'm wondering if they were any larger would the ice bounce around in the glass and potentially break it?
