Chromium oxide

Intriguing name, nuanced color

Words like Chromium Oxide, sound scientific, mysterious, hard to spell. Indeed, this color is nuanced, not bold green, not yellow, not lime. It is emotion and mystery in a green tinted mist. As a mixer it can create a hard to describe color for leaves, grasses and distant fields in a way that feels relaxed and natural. I don't feel it should stand alone often, unless some areas of glazing allow for depth and shadow. This is in my "buddy colors" palette, where 2 to 4 colors work together in a chorus.
