Scraplings: The Writer’s Pouch

Great companion!

Here's a very versatile and practical pouch! I was excited to see this style get released. I love carrying a collection of postcards, stickers, and bits of paper that I use in my journal, and this pouch helps me keep them organized. Same great craftsmanship as with other Peg & Awl pouches, with extra functionality (I love the inside pockets) + whimsy (the 2 tones are a nice little detail). The extra bits of canvas on each side of the zipper do make the opening a bit smaller, as pointed out by another customer, but I've noticed that they also protect the ends of the zipper and give the pouch a more finished look. I would definitely consider getting another one, especially in fun contrasting colors!

Almost exactly perfect

I love the fabric, the weight, and the overall dimensions of this writer's pouch, but with one caveat. I used the measurements in the product description to make sure this pouch would hold my favorite B6 notebook. Alas! The zipper does not extend to the edges of the pouch and the opening is too narrow to get my notebook inside. I've switched to carrying index cards or an A6 notebook and it works well enough for that purpose, but I wish I had understood this limitation before I made the purchase. I probably would have chosen a different-sized pouch. Nonetheless, the pouch is well-made, lovely to look at, and I'm certain it will last forever.

A great little bag…I use it as a small grab-n-go watercolor kit…holds all the items for a quick watercolor or sketch!
