The sharpening jig does many things very, very well - if you don't add water! The roller gets gummed up with swarf, stops rolling and develops a flat. Lubricants on the support roller compound the issue. Dunking the roller in water helps but is inconvenient. I've added tiny O-rings. Hopefully they will seal out swarf
