SharpMate - Chisel & Plane Sharpening Jig

This is a game changer!

I've never had sharp chisels, so using them for what they're intended for has never really been on the radar. I just use them for various tasks. Scraping and such. Also - I have a small plane that my dad gave me that's been sitting in my toolbox for years. I tried it a couple of times, and couldn't ever really get it to work, so it's sat unused. I finally decided to get the SharpMate for my chisels, but the first thing I sharpened was my plane. WOW!! When your plane is actually sharp, it actually cuts! It was super easy to set up. Super easy to use. I'm hooked! Going from barely usable to crazy sharp with very little effort is fantastic. The SharpMate is super-precise. Easy to use. And VERY well made. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and it does it very well. Pleased with the quality and the final result. Definitely worth the money!!

Ya Can't Go Wrong!

Well, let's see, my first purchase was the SharpMate and, boy what a fantastic purchase that was. I've tried several sharpeners and never got the results I was happy with. Then came the SharpMate! Everything I had issues with other sharpeners disappeared and the process of sharpening literally turned the 'chore' into a snap! Absolutely straight and true edges, changing stones was simplified and made the sequencing of stones a cinch! And stropping was also a breeze. My edges were super sharp (watch out when handling your tools! I'm speaking from personnel experience). If ya want SHARP TOOLS, THE SharpMate IS the tool you have been looking for, No BS! Do yourself a favor and check it out, you won't regret it!

It was nicer than I expected. Machined aluminum, Not cheap plastic. The stones are large and well made. Overall it’s a great value.
