American Hickory Red Rock It Marching Sticks

Ordered the woodies marching sticks after seeing an ad online. Running a drumline for a high school, we go through some sticks and I like to see what else is out there besides promark/vicfirth. Plus being the same nickname as our school (Woodstown Woodies) it was pretty cool. They're very well balanced and weighted. The texture is nice and they have some great playability. I let the kids on the drumline take them for a spin and they were a hit.

I was looking for a stick to build my chops and to practice rudiments and the like. Nicely weighted, nicely proportioned, and sturdy enough for decades of work (maybe I won't rimshot them to oblivion!).

I'm a metal drummer and play woodies, so this was an easy choice. Got them for my Daughter who's a percussionist in marching band. She absolutely loves them! Her band teacher and classmates all thought they were the coolest as well. She says they feel great and look great too.
