Good short, runs small.

Snug fitting short. I had upsize from a small to a medium even though I have a 29" waist. In the small, the legs were very tight and even with the medium, the legs are snug!

Great Fit for Long Rides

I'm relatively new to road cycling and have been on a search for shorts for rides of 5+ hours. I've tried a few brands and was not happy with the chamois or the fit. I discovered Voler through a custom jersey I bought at the local bike shop and was eager to try a smaller manufacturer in the US. For reference, I'm 6' and 200lbs. I bought a large. I find the material breathable without being too light. The fabric-only leg band is comfortable and doesn't ride up. I think it lets the short fit better in the crotch. The snugness of the shorts is perfect for me - a tad less restrictive than other brands without riding up or falling down at all. The chamois is at least as good as anything else I've tried. The waist is perfect for me. Until I have a problem, these are the shorts for me. The only thing I would change is adding a pocket or two like the bib version.
