Fixed the problem

After plugging in the control board, I saw the heartbeat flashing on the board. I selected the set up for my machine and all has been operating like new since.

It worked.

We really had no way of knowing if this was the problem, but after doing an Internet search, discovered that our washing machine is known as a “control board eater” – ordered one, installed it, took us about 15 minutes and everything is back in working order now.

Main control board and pump

My GE frontload washer stopped draining. After researching videos on how to fix it on YouTube I came across a video that suggested me replacing the drain pump and main control board. I got the board and pump from Ben's appliance and installed them. Washer started working again like it should.
