Garlic Festival

The garlic that I received were big healthy bulbs. I planted them in my raised garden beds. This is the first time I soaked the cloves in fertilizer water before I planted them. They were planted just before Halloween. Most of the soft neck varieties are showing growth already. The hard neck varieties still appear to be dormant. I’m looking forward to a good harvest next year.

Music to my Ears

Received the Misic, Siberian, and Metechi trio quickly and in excellent condition. I did a Fall planting , covered them with straw, and wait in anticipation of Spring. I have no doubt that they'll be amazing, as I started with such healthy bulbs! I will update with a picture at harvest.

I received my order of Garlic Festival varieties a bit later than I liked but the bulbs were large and beautiful. They were in excellent condition and I did get them set out in the garden within the appropriate planting time. I hope to get a big, beautiful crop next July!
