Gorgeous Ukrainian Red bulbs for planting.
I planted my Ukrainian Red in late November inside the greenhouse I built. The cloves were firm and large and I am expecting them to do well. This is the first time I have planted in the greenhouse and they have been watered in twice so far. The soil in the greenhouse is not frozen and I am expecting them to thrive. A light fertilizing of bone meal and all purpose fertilizer was applied on the surface and carefully turned in. The garlic is planted in the bed closest to the wall in the small openings of the blocks that form the raise beds. Central Washington 7b zone.

Best garlic ever
I have planted this garlic for about 10 years. It is big, dependable and stores well. I have ordered this variety from several companies but none have been as consistently large and superior in quality as those from territorial.
This garlic has great flavor and if you cut the scapes early they are delicious. None better than Ukrainian Red.
