Uzbekistan Garlic Grew Great!
Pacific NW in western foothills. First year growing the Uzbeckistan variety, got it late on sale last year on a whim. Of 4 bulbs I picked the best 12 cloves (some were kinda dried out, definitely sale bulbs/leftovers). Planted in 10 gallon more wide than tall black fabric grow bags in November. Fertilized in early spring. There were ready super early (couple weeks before other varieties) and we're huge!! The smaller diameter necks made me think it didn't do well until I pulled them. 12 of 12 germinated and not a single bulb under 2 inches, and just less than half in the 4 inch range. Definitely a keeper. So glad I planted these !

Great Bulbs!
I purchased 14 varieties of garlic from Territorial Seed, including Uzbekistan. Nearly all of the garlic bulbs were sizeable and in great condition. In my large purchase there were a few partially rotten bulbs, but it was impossible to know without breaking the bulbs into cloves. The Uzbekistan and the other varieties were planted in late November. Many of them began sprouting and then stopped due to the freeze, which is spot on. I'm more than pleased with my purchase and am looking forward to the massive yields. Nearly everything I've purchased from this company is A+. I'll be continuing to buy for years!

First Year Growing
This is my first year growing Uzbekistan (previously I’ve stuck to Spanish Roja & Silver White). Uzbekistan was one of the last garlics to sprout for me this year but seems to now be going strong: 26 of the 30 cloves have sprouted. The 8 oz size had several remaining cloves leftover & my family definitely enjoyed this variety’s flavor.
