So, first things first. I love Julbo. I had my first pair of ski glasses in 1980something. This insert has a couple of issues. The mock lenses are smaller than the frame. Some eye stores scan the lens instead of the frame to cut the prescription lenses which would result in a bad fit. See the attached video. Second, the flaps used to keep the insert in position could also use redesigning as they don’t keep the insert lined up. When you unhook the lens to vent it, one of the insert lower flaps falls in to the gap. Lastly, the insert is unnecessarily small. When you wear the googles half of your field of view is out of the prescription lenses. That happens because the insert sits further away from your eyes than a regular pair of glasses would. It could have had more lens real estate, there is plenty of room in the google. Thank you for reading.
