Lightweight with high quality lenses
I was looking for glasses with lens performance like my pairs of Serengeti glasses, particularly with the Drivers lenses - these are the gold standard, IMHO - but I wanted something lighter weight for wear during activities and for all-day comfort. These particular glasses with the Reactiv 2-4 come about as close as you can get regarding the lenses (they are a bit darker, and polymer vs mineral has a tradeoff). On the practical side, for activities and all day comfort, these are awesome. They are very lightweight, the venting actually seems to help reduce fogging, and the lens shape creates a seamless field of view. I wear these outside hiking, fishing, or really for anything. They're great. The only gripe I have is that the side shields seem to pop off a bit too easily. Idk if my shields are at the "small" end of the press fit tolerance, but I'm worried I might lose them. Regardless, the good far outweigh any negatives here. Now I have to get the wife a pair!

A Great pair of sunglasses
At first look I didn't think that I would like there sunglasses. They looked fragile, and I was worried that they wouldn't hold up to use. Let me start by saying that I am not hard on sunglasses, I have a pair of Ray Bans that have plastic lenses that are 5 years old. I wear them all the time. They are still without scratches. So the plastic frames are not an issue for me. The only worry I have with these glasses are the side shields that are removable. The connection to the frame seems to be the weak spot. They have not come off yet, but they have separated from the frame bottom a few times. Time will tell but I think Julbo could improve this area. The positives; very light weight and extremely comfortable. The sunglasses just stay in place. The lenses are very good, clear and change tint very fast in variable sunlight. Would I buy them again, the answer is yes without reservation.

Meh...
Love the lenses. The reactiv lenses are absolutely awesome. Disappointed in the frames. As soon as you start sweating at all the frames slip and slide everywhere. Ordered some third party silicone stick on nose pieces which solved the problem. Just feel like you shouldn't need to add $9 amazon nose pieces to a set of $200+ sunglasses just to keep them on your face when using them what they are meant for.
