GRAVELKING X1 Plus + Folding Gravel Tire

I'm excited about putting these tires through the ringer.

I am not a rockstar gravel racer. Happy to finish in the middle of the pack. Bought these for 2024 Barry-Roubaix Gravel race in Michigan. Lots of gravel, road, and a bit of sand over 64 miles. These tires were awesome on road, handled the gravel well, and did not fail me in the sand. I ran at 50psi given the amount of road. This might have been a little too hard for the gravel sections. Overall, very happy with the investment!

Impressive

After using the SK and the SS GravelKing tires for years decided to try the new X1 tires for a recent 100mi gravel race since my rubber was thinning. I was presently surprised the 40mm sizing was a welcome change since it fit my setup well and the rolling felt really smooth and consistent. On the small pavement transfers they actually felt very fast fwiw. Don't feel like I paid any penalty over the SS and the grip felt better in the short mud sections might run them in some tame cx races.
