VTF-2 MK5 Subwoofer

The subwoofers were the right size for my room while still delivering great punch. The best part about them is the ability to customize the degree of impact through sealing certain ports and adjusting the Q control. This is great for finding that right level of impact. It allows me to appreciate the sound without disturbing my dog, who's afraid of sounds that are too much like loud thunder.

Amazing Subwoofer for any situation

I got the VTF-2 MK5 (12”) to replace a 15” Klipsch SPL-150 (amp issues of course). The Hsu hits just as low and plays just as loud as the Klipsch although the pressure levels aren’t as powerful as the 15”. Thankfully Hsu has a 15” version that I realize I should’ve gotten to begin with. I’ll be getting the 15” after a while just because I like to feel Godzilla’s stomp in my soul. My “theater” is relatively small but opens up on one side to the rest of the house so after messing with the settings I found that for me the best sound was Both ports sealed, Vol. middle, phase 180°, EQ2, Q-control .55 and crossover in @ 80hz. Hsu subwoofers are my new go to brand. Amazing sound quality, price and flexibility. I hope this helps.

I bought 2 VTF-@ MK5's and they have been working great! I would highly recoment these subs!
