This receiver has caused nothing but frustration since arriving last week. It is impossible to get Dirac to work. Even after finally being successful in getting the Dirac to allow me to get some measurements, when it came time to download that information to the RZ30,it crashed the receiver and totally lost sound.Calls to Onkyo were unhelpful with "Anthony" telling me that they were only responsible for the receiver and not Dirac problems. Well, don't brag about having Dirac on your receiver unless you can help with issues that arise from using that EQ software.. It took 2 resets back to factory settings to even get the sound back on.What a pain that is. You have to isolate your 2.4 ghz network to get the network to work,it will not work wth an ethernet cable plugged in either, you have to be on 5ghz wifi only. Onkyo tech support struggled with trying to help with that also, hence the 2 factory resets. I am not alone in having many issues with Dirac to even getting past the error messages that come up during the arduous process.Master gain is high,Error refreshing license session, low signal to noise level among other frustrations. This is actually my 2nd receiver of the same type. The first one got an error right out of the box that said NG-contact service. That one went back and they replaced it with another. Unfortunately, this one seems to be a lemon too. If you are familiar with Dirac, you have to have a very quiet room for it to get its calibrations. I confirmed my room level was at -78db which is very quiet. As soon as I plug the mic into the mic port,my readings are anywhere from-40db to -24db. I think the receiver is creating its own noise and it makes it impossible to use the calibration software. The one time I got it to work was when the receiver had been off overnight and while the receiver was still cold,it worked for a while. As soon as you work with the software and the receiver warms up,it will not work. Something is up with this 2nd receiver and I am about fed up. It is probably just a bad pallet of them and I got unlucky twice.Buyer beware
