K235 Stereo 3-Way Active Crossover

Loving the K235

I recently installed a k235 in my system. It’s great. Silent and perfectly adaptable to most any system. I run a Bryston bp17 pre into the k235 in 3 way stereo mode. 50hz and down goes to JBL powered subs. 50hz to 375hz feed the woofer of my ATCscm40 (atc p2 amp) and the 375hz and up feed the mids and tweets of the scm40 (another p2 amp). I use the internal crossover in the atcs for the mid/high separation. The three level controls are perfect for blending subs, woofs and mid/tweets. I haven’t played with the baffle control yet but plan to explore it. This unit is dead silent, a marked improvement from the dcx2496 I replaced. I would say it’s neither warm or bright, just neutral in a great hifi way. It does exactly what I needed and I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to elevate their system with an active crossover.

Most important equipment in my audio system. So many controls to change sound with whatever you like....and the sound stage and clarity and speed to the speaker is unbelievable.

Worth Every Penny

Although this is my first foray in active crossovers, it's far from my first rodeo. In short I know what good sound is. Without a doubt Sublime active crossovers are a MASSIVE upgrade over passive, there's such a measureable improvement it's hard to believe these aren't standard for top tier systems. The difference in sound reminds me of when your ears pop, days after being on an airplane. Sublime Acoustics is an asset to the audiophile community, first class gear and five star customer service.
