Amazing speakers
Just purchased a new pair of CCB-8 speakers and they are amazing. I can’t help turning them up! The sound is clear and articulate. I also have two of the MFL-6 left/right speakers on the back atmos positions and they make the movies come to life!

Incredible Value!
I almost bought CCB-8's 7 years ago when I first set up my home theater. Instead, I bought 3 Emotiva T1 tower speakers to act as LCR speakers (mine was a 5.2.4 system). They were fine, but never really blew me away. Fast forward to today -- I gave the T1's to my son and set about finding replacements. I remembered the CCB-8's and started researching again. I wish there were more professional reviews of these speakers. You really have to take a leap of faith - but man are you rewarded. I regret not buying these 7 years ago. As LCR speakers, they are phenomenal. I was forced to use closed captioning with the T1 towers while watching movies. Not so with the CCB-8's. Dialog is crystal clear. The soundstage is wide and expansive. They are not bright in any way and have some heft in the midbass. You do have to put in effort to toe-in them correctly. I have my L and R placed 11 feet away angled 15 degrees into the room on 36 inch stands. I have the center on a 28 inch stand and angled up. Movies and music both sound excellent. Dr Hsu has not changed the design of these speakers because there is no need to do so. If you are hesitant to buy these due to lack of reviews, don't be - just buy them, read the manual, and toe them in. You will not regret the purchase.

Perfect match for my subs!
Having owned the VTF-TN1 for a year, I finally satisfied my curiosity by ordering a second subwoofer AND the well, but seldom reviewed CCB-8 speakers. I'm glad I did! This combo of subwoofers and speakers puts out incredibly good sound! The CCB-8's sounded so good, it was literally startling. So smooth, so clear, so dynamic, so detailed. A great value at this price. I can't imagine how a speaker could sound much better. No reason to search for more reviews. These are exceptional! Thank you to the HSU organization for your vision, engineering and execution! Well done!
