Mellitis is the classical Givaudan mellis base launched in 1921. It features a perfectly balanced heart of carnation accented by rose, jasmin and wild flowers. Versatile mellis accord
Lovely vintage base where rich (but fresh) florals with green hues are sourrouded by the warm embrace of the spices soaked in salicylates. It's not just for vintage-style compositions: the jasmine / rose (and tubereuse?) soul is powerful enough to make it apt for both reinforcing a floral theme or to give warmth to base notes.
