not what I was expecting
This base gets the job done, but it is a little heavy handed. Rosy/Ylang notes with a good dose of Cinnamyl Alcohol, it's not as light and watery as I'd have hoped. Some might call it unpleasant...

Don't compare this to other peony accords...
You get the classic, vintage vibe right off the bat, as a fantasy note Jamie nailed it, with fantasy note it relies mostly on aroma chemicals and it tends to smell "industrial", but this doesn't. It's like you are smelling peony flowers in a courtyard with bunch pf servants running around centuries ago.
