For this price, it should include a top. Also, why not offer a glass or stainless steel version that isnt proned to cracks?

Wrong item was sent. I selected the correct option for the base of this container and the wrong one was sent. My blender does not have a spider gear at the bottom it has four plastic prongs as advertised on the website but somehow I ended up with the spider gear one that does not fit.
