My go-to carry-on bag

The MPL22 has become my go-to carry-on bag, and it serves as a perfect companion to my larger CTB26. The 22L size is a real sweet spot; it feels nimble enough to navigate through an airport or a crowded city, yet it still offers enough room for all my flight essentials. The contoured fit makes it exceptionally comfortable to wear for long stretches, and it packs down beautifully when I need to pair it with my bigger travel kit. It is a fantastic, streamlined option for those trips where a full-sized travel pack would be overkill.

Extremely well thought out & versatile

After using this bag for a few months, I'm still constanly surprised at how effortlessly this bag can handle pretty much everything. So far it's worked perfectly as an EDC/work laptop bag, a travel bag, and a hiking pack. It's rare to find a bag that handles a single use case this well, let alone all of these. And I never felt like something was compromised or missing - this backpack just works. There are loads of nice, thoughtful touches throughout the bag - like the routing for the drinking tube on hydration packs. The hydration/laptop sleeve is so simple, yet works perfectly whether you're hiking up a mountain or taking the train to work. The pocket layouts are convenient, useful, and flexible, and the patterning of the pockets themselves allows them to retain their volume regardless of whether the main comparment is completely stuffed or not. Somehow this pack always seems to be able to fit more than I expect, without ever feeling too bulky or uncomfortable. It's a deceptively simple and flexible pack that can do a lot, and it's obvious that the Evergoods team put some serious R&D into making this bag amazing. Highly recommend this pack!
