Mystery Grab Bag

These are handy little bags!

Love these bags. When I need something to pack with those odds and ends, or it can also be used as a toiletry bag. I love the surprise styles. Not disappointed.

My husband and I are Tom Bihn people. Yes, the weirdos with all the bags on every trip. One of the things that stresses me out the most when buying these bags is deciding on the color. I'm not sure what TB magic goes on behind the scenes, but the first mystery grab bag I got had a lovely lilac on the sides and raspberry on the sides/top. The colors are lovely, and I loved the first little bag so much that I tried my luck at a second one. Dark purple and a dark green combo. I love purple, so these were great combos for me. I bought the larger size for both bags, and they are still petite but big enough. I think the small one might be too small for what I needed, so I'm glad I went big. I remember being so excited to see what colors I got, and the mystery is half the fun. I am also one of those people who turns every bag into a knitting bag, and these are perfect single project bags. I think another review mentioned the same thing, but socks, hats, or mitten projects fit perfectly in the larger size. I have a little trouble getting my pattern to fit, but a printout that is folded in half slips right in. If I could pry these little guys away from my knitting habit, I could certainly see using one as a toiletry kit (I use the clear organizer from TB for that) or a little purse (I use the everyday cubelet for that right now!). This bag is a bit more affordable because of the lack of pockets, and I love how light it is without the extra fabric weight. I know some people are very picky about colors, so I'd avoid this bag if you are set on a specific color combo. If you need a cute little bag and love a surprise, you might consider buying two (or more!). Don't forget that they have a place to clip a strap and two o-rings inside, so you can certainly add some organization if you prefer it. I bought a shoulder strap for my first one and decided I liked carrying it around by the handles instead. The strap is being used on another bag now 😊

This little bag can do anything. I also loved getting the mystery colors... Couldn't wait to see what arrived. I got a teal/orange combo, and I love it!
