The 12 inch skillet is a dream

I purchased the 12 inch eater skillet instead of the Made In skillet because i believe in Made In America. I love this thing. This is my transition from cast iron back to stainless steel. Browns like a dream and provides even heating, even up the sides due to the layered construction. No more scorching. If you allow the pan to heat up, then add your oil, nothing sticks. This will be a hand-me-down heirloom.

Very well made pan

This pan is exceptionally well made. It's got weight, but it's not heavy. The handle feels comfortable and the groove helps you hold on when pouring, even with gloves. Stainless seems of excellent quality, but I haven't used it nearly long enough to know. It strikes a good balance of heating up quickly on our induction stove but also holding the heat. Most importantly the heat distribution is pretty good, especially important for the 12" version. The first one we got had a very very convex bottom, replacement is dead flat. Warranty service was easy. Within a few days I merely got a shipment notification, no arguing or anything. The warped one still cooked very well too, I'll give it away to someone with a non-glasstop stove. I'm sure they'll love it too.

Great Cookware
