B♭ Clarinet French Cut

Excellent reed

This reed has a rich dark and consistent tone and plays immediately without wetting. It works well when long gaps between playing without any issues associated with cane reeds.

Great experience

A few months ago I bought a Backun Alpha bass clarinet. It came with a Legere signature reed which I liked very much. I decided to try the soprano clarinet reed and the French cut was the closest match to the reed I was using. The Legere reed sounded amazing from the first blow. I am having an amazing time playing these reeds!

Amazing reed

It is an amazing reed has good response and tone. I did just end up accidentally chipping it so it’s more of a practice reed. Will buy more though.
