V-Carve Inlay Bit Set

I was amazed at how quiet and quickly the tool worked. I was too nervous to follow the cut depth of CIC rec's but I would definitely do it on my next project. Project was very clean and easy to get the fuzzies removed.

Overall the bit set works well and performs as described. My only complaint would be the amount of tear out after facing off the inlay. I used the recommended process and settings. The upcut bit does a good job of clearing off the waste, but it also leaves a lot of tear out to be sanded. This photo was after I thought I'd removed it all and applied oil. I had to go back and sand more to get it presentable.

CIC has been great and very helpful with all my noob questions.
