Quality feels like it is slipping.
This is my s3cond pair of the Vermont Classics, my first pair had th3 tample arm hooks snap off after about one season of use. I came looking for new tample arms, but they are not in the store and customer service has yet to respond to my warranty request.
This new pair has thinner leather side shields with branding stamped into them. Branding isn't really by thing, but my only other choice is to canibalize the new pair to repair my older pair. I would rate the light filtering at a 9/10. The durability at a 5/10 and the customer service at a 2/10.

Best sunglasses I’ve ever owned
I’m a redhead and I have really sensitive eyes when it comes to sunlight. I’m always squinting, eyes watering uncontrollably and well, I just can’t stand the sun at all.
I’m also a truck driver, so I’m always looking for nice and reasonably priced sunglasses that also have sides to prevent light (which these do).
I suggest people get these even if you’re partially interested. You don’t have to be a mountain climber to use these, they’re really stylish and for myself, even within a couple days of wearing them, I get a lot of looks and compliments.
Also a bonus that you can get replacement parts too, only thing I wouldn’t mind is this specific pair to also be polarized to help with glare… still great sunglasses!

All the people I've shown these. Really like them. Only had cheap sunglasses. Totally different and better.
