Pleasing woody and warmly spicy fragrance
When I smelled it the first time, I was not very impressed. Yesterday, I gave it a full day wear and I got a bigger appreciation for it. On my skin, it starts crisp, but it soon delivers its warmly spicy woody characteristic. It does smell like pencil shavings at first, but it gets a lot more creamy in the dry down, with a hint of sweetness. My only mistake was reapplying a little too heavily during the day, which created a pepperiness that was overwhelming at times, causing me to sneeze. But I think I will enjoy my decant a lot, if I’m mindful not to overspray, specially the dry-down.
