Surprised me how much I fell for this one. <3

I would never typically reach for a powdery fragrance, but here it is a creamy powdery iris fragrance anchored by woody notes that is just irresistible. Despite initially enjoying it, the interesting thing is this is something I would never have thought would become my signature daily scent based on previously mostly gravitating toward green citrus pine for daily. But, I bought the small sample, then two larger ones, and finally the full bottle as I just wanted it always. Its a great skin scent so simple and pleasant, not cloying; has a lovely desert woody note that deepens it. Really great for layering too.

Uniquely beautiful and tells a story

This is one of those perfumes that I love because the smell of it when you first put it on melts and chemically intertwines with your skin to produce a new smell. It starts off very fresh and almost vegetal in a pleasant way, then after being on the skin for a while it fades into a skin like musk, the greenery becomes less prominent but still present. It reminds me of a rabbit hopping through a fresh, plentiful garden. And even though the vegetable quality of it seems unusual and divisive, it’s actually quite wearable and the way it’s blended makes it smell like it’s normal. I probably will not buy a full bottle of this, but I definitely will finish my sample and I’m grateful I got the chance to experience the story of this perfume.

I appreciate the artistry, just not for me

I was very intrigued about this scent, but it’s not for me, even though I value the concept behind it. Regrettably, on my skin the clay and rice take over and I get none of the flowery notes, such as iris which I adore. The dry down gets a little better, as sandalwood provides some sweetness. But it overall reminds me of my family house, as a kid, being remodeled, with the chalky and dry smell of concrete and dust all the time. It doesn’t help that at times it feels like a rice bowl has been tossed over my head. Just a personal experience.
