Incense and Patchouli

This is quite intoxicating. Very good blend of incense and patchouli. Totally my vibe. Of course it's meant for cooler weather. Not for everyone but unique and it will get compliments.

An elegant, appealing, wearable patchouli!

This is an elegant, appealing, and wearable patchouli. I’m a big fan of even more clumsy, obvious “hippy dippy” patchouli. But this is worlds from that. I could see it converting folks who didn’t think they’d like patchouli to fans and wearers. It didn’t have great projection or wear on me alone. It stayed close and wore off quickly. For that, I gave it 4 stars and not 5. I know this is particular to this scent on me, and not this perfumer, because I also have Arquiste’s Venice Rococo, which is a stellar performer. Anyway, I layered Misfit over City Rhythm’s Frequent Flyer and it projected a strong medium, never obnoxiously, and lasted over 8 hours. It’s definitely office appropriate. I’m female, but it’s a true unisex. I don’t think it leans either direction. It didn’t become overwhelming in the summer heat, but for me personally, it belongs in the emotional register of what I want to wear in fall/winter. Edited to add: I raised this to 5 stars and want a full bottle because it layers like an absolute DREAM with Harlem Perfume Company’s Josephine, which is my favorite and signature scent.

Misfit- Arquiste

It is a very good fragrance. I am thinking of buying the full bottle and I am glad that I purchased the sample.
