Major Disappointment

I have been purchasing the Ribeye Fat and Crumbs for some time now and although the texture can vary slightly from bag to bag, the product is usually always excellent. Unfortunately, on my last two orders, this has not been the case. In fact, my last order of two bags was terrible: dry, hardly any visible fat and so dried out that both bags were uneatable. I tried reaching out to the company but received no response. At 30.00 + per bag, it's unlikely that I will be purchasing again. Sadly, quality control seems to be gone which is a shame because my wife and I really use to enjoy products from Carnivore.

This review is suppose to be for the ribeye fat & crumbs which is really good and I usually get a bag of this in every order but I wanted to speak out about another cut as well which has been favorite so far and can't wait till they get another batch so I can buy atleast 5 bags of it alone. The Waygu New York Strip was the best stuff I have ever eaten in my life. I usually add some spicy seasoning to all of my bags or atleast some paprika and black pepper which is just awesome with steak. The Waygu New York Strip was so tender and juicy with a little crisp in the bite and then it melted like butter in my mouth. It was perfectly marbled and didn't have the huge chunks of fat all over it. It was just really perfectly marbled with the perfect amount of fat to meat ratio that I have never seen before in these. Usually the ribeye is my favorite bag and then the new York strip. I would love to see a bag of the Waygu Ribeye as well which I have never seen and have only seen the Waygu New York Strip once in stock. This is why you need the hunt membership to get access to these special cuts that do not last long at all. You also get 5% back on each order. I have $22 saved up in my membership right now that im about spend but was hoping the waygu NY Strip would come back in stock first. Hey guys if your a steak eater man like myself then you will love this stuff. You can add your seasonings to the bag and shake it up to suit your taste that you like or just eat it plain with only salt as a seasoning. I usually throw a little black pepper and paprika or some spicy blackening seasoning in all of mine. My daughter likes dipping hers in marinade. I guess you can eat it just about any way you want to. Most of the time each bite has an airy crispy bite that melts into your mouth kinda like cheese balls do if you need something close to compare it to but the cheese balls has more of the airy crispy bite since they are so much thicker than these meat slices. And the meat kinda melts in your mouth. This stuff is not chewy like jerky is. This is not the same as jerky. Its a tender bite that melts. Since it's air dried it kinda gives it a bit of airy crispy bite at first bite. I love this stuff and have been a member for about a year now and I think my time for renewing comes up in a week or two. Hopefully I get a free cut for renewing like I did for signing up.

Fast shipping. I season mine up a little with paparika and black pepper and shake it up real good. Sometimes i will throw in some cajun seasoning or blackening seasoning with some spicy kick. This stuff is hard to beat if you can afford it.
