xDuoo TA-20 Plus Balanced Tube Headphone Amplifier

Love the tube sound - very smooth. The fact that this unit is a hybrid, accepts balanced inputs and has the balanced output for my Denon AH-D7200 headphones are the reasons I bought it. It has plenty of power to drive the headphones and bring out the detail. I have not noticed any sibilance with this combination. Highly recommend.

xDuoo TA-20 Plus & Apos Ray 12AU7 Matched Tubes

Admittedly, I am not an expert, but I LOVE this amp and tube combination! I recently bought a pair of HifiMan HE1000SE Headphones and wanted to try them with a tube amp. I searched the online recommendations and found a few higher end amps that reviewed well, but I wanted an amp that had sufficient power for the HE1000SEs. None of the "higher end" amps had as much power as the xDuoo and the xDuoo's reviews were very complimentary of the amp, so I decided to purchase it (at one third to one tenth the price of the others). Well the combination of the xDuoo and the Apos Ray Matched Tubes is wonderful with my new headphones. I actually have a much more expensive solid state amp that I am now using only as a DAC to power the xDuoo amp. And with the power reserves the TA-20 Plus has, I only run it at 40 out of 100 on the volume scale, so there is plenty of additional headroom, if needed. This is a GREAT combination and I love the way my headphones sound out of the xDuoo/Apos Ray combo. I highly recommend the TA-20 Plus with the Apos Ray Matched tubes!
