TOPPING A70 Pro Fully Balanced Headphone Amplifier

Excellent performance from a unit that is a perfect fit for installations with limited space. Build quality is great and I think the unit looks very good, especially when matched with a DAC like the Topping D70 Pro Octo. The price to performance ratio is outstanding.

Magia Bias?

The biggest sell for me regards the A70 Pro is the headphone out control, where you can power individually or all of them simultaneously. I also appreciate the precise nature of the volume control that attenuates smoothly between phones of various sensitivity. The most egregious fault this amplifier has against it is that the 4. 4mm headphone socket does not fit well with the Magia cables pentacon termination. No audio can be heard. The same goes for the stock 4. 4 cable on my Jade Audio JT1.

Lots of features, nice fit and finish, sounds amazing. Firmware update process is easy.
