MOMENTUM True Wireless 5

Great earbuds! I’ve used the MTW3 for a few years and been waiting for an upgrade. A few initial thoughts: * Sound is great and improved from the already solid sounding MTW3. * I liked the fit of MTW3 and initially was on the fence about the new form factor, but it’s grown on me. I wore them on a 5 hour ride and they were comfortable. * I use these as my every day earbuds and for longer road biking rides. I think the anti-wind mode on the MTW3 is better, but imagine it will improve with firmware updates. * I generally prefer foam ear tips and have some Comply tips on the way. Will compare to the out of the box ear tips. * ANC seems fine, but it’s not a priority feature for me.

these sound amazing. big sound stage improvement over MTW4 which were already great. bass is still very punchy. 8+ hours battery with anc on at full blast too. the new shape is much more comfortable and stays put easier while moving. the call quality is excellent compared to a bit buggy on the MTW4. new case design feels very well thought out too. anc is extremely strong so far.

Terrible call quality, but has nice sound quality. keep your old ones if they're still in good condition unlike mines.
