prior to purchasing an entire box, I was gifted a small bag from a wholesaler since it had passed it’s best by date. I’ve been somewhat indifferent to caramels in the past, so did not have high hopes having never heard of these AND they were past their prime (according to the packaging). well… holy moly… these are undoubtedly the best caramels I have ever tasted, there is so much flavor in one tiny bite that they leave you so satisfied with just one (such a special little treat). in each bite you get a little tartness from the ACV, richness from the butter, flavor from the apple juice, spices, vanilla and rose, crunch from the cocoa nibs, and a touch of sea salt at the end. absolute favorite treat find of 2025.
