My only trouble is the colour match
Coverage is good. I am not a fan of foundation because I like a very bare face type of makeup (I prefer something like their luminous tinted serum), but it feels good on my face, apart from the regular feeling of knowing I have a layer on my face.
Like the title indicates, not having a physical location to sample the colour, nor an option to get some samples shipped, I find the shopping experience unfortunate. Their colour-match guideline is pretty spot-on, but for example, the shade I got while following it is more like my summer complexion. It's still fine during the winter if I blend sufficiently on my neck, but to give you an idea, I can see that it's darker than my arms (not noticeable enough for a random passerby to see). I included photo where you can see that my face looks tanner than my body, even though it's ever so slightly (why 4 stars and not under), still annoying not to have been able to have a choice.
Shade in 20N, and to add to my point, the shade matches don't even match the undertones. I'm olive, and yet I have to get different undertones to fit the shade match!
What I would suggest is that, if they don't want people to abuse of it, offer a shipping fee free sample of 4-5 shades that one may pay for, say, $5-10, and they can use that credit to purchase a full size if they are happy, or get a refund if not. Just an idea I hope they'll see, because it's frustrating to pay that much money on something that may not work.
Apart from that, I chose Rose Inc for the first time for the availability of olive undertone which I appreciate a lot for a brand that is not famous for having a super wide shade range.
