Bass Custom Clarinet Mouthpiece

I gave some general instructions about the mouthpiece I wanted to have (tip opening, baffle, what I was useing at the moment why I was going to change and what I expected) and the final result was more or less what I expected: an easy blowing mouthpiece, with a very flexible tone, easy to control in dynamycs form extreme piano to extreme fortissimo (I asked for something giveing me the possibility of playing without too muche effort and without any amplification alongside a drummer and it works) with a basically dark tone in the low register and a bright aggresive one in the higher. I had some troubles at the beginnig because the mouthpiece is very sensitive to instrumental leaks, so I had to repair it before truly understanding its potential. This can be a bit bothering, such as the gasket for the neck that I really didn't like and didn't properly fit in my neck. But these are small details...

Pretty good!

The mouthpiece functions very well! It has rubber rings instead of cork, which functions way better. The only problem I found was a loose piece of plastic left over from the printing. Other than that, amazing product!

Contra bass Clarinet

I am very new to this instrument so have little experience and nothing to compare. However. The sound I get from this mouthpiece is very satisfying and it seems as a newbie very easy to play. It also looks great. I did have some trouble fitting the mouthpiece to the instrument at first as the o rings were too large. I believe that under the custom SYOS would correct this if necessary. I was to impatient though and wanted to try it so managed to get it working fine with some personal customisation. Very happy !
