Great rope !

This rope isn't going to be right for every application, but it's my daily driver for multipitch guiding in Squamish, and for that it's perfect. It's nice and thin, meaning it's light for your approaches and climbs, and feeds smoothly through devices. Admittedly it does fuzz up a bit with a lot of use, but it still ends up feeding nicely. When guiding clients, I appreciate that it doesn't have nearly as much stretch as other thin ropes (thanks to the Aramid), so I'm not worried about them slipping and stretching down to a ledge. The caveat with that is that the catch might be a little harder if you're whipping on lead, but I can't say I've really noticed that when I've been using this rope in those instances. Lastly I appreciate the cut-resistance of this rope when I'm climbing in sharper venues, or with bigger clients. It's a great multipitch rope for the above reasons. I also use it ice climbing if I'm using a single rope (or can use it as a half, though it's bigger than I want for that, generally). I wouldn't use this rope as a sport-sender (too hard) or a top roper (fuzz it to death). When I retire these ropes, I keep them for rope soloing and fixed lines, as I appreciate the low-stretch and cut resistance. Final word: it might be a bit of a niche multipitch/alpine kind of rope, but it's really great for that.

The rope runs very smoothly for both belaying and repelling and I love the light weight and confidence that such a strong rope gives.
