Light with little compromise

I used these ladders on the Salathe Wall to replace of a heavier pair that didn't have spreader bars. They felt just as useful as beefier ladders for leading aid. For jugging, I prefer one adjustable foot loop with elastic, since ladders only offer a few increments for the height of your foot. The only downside of these ladders is their light weight (which is also their main benefit); on sunny walls, the wind often blows upward, making the ladders hard to step into as they're flying up past my face. On the other hand, the dramatic weight savings made it easier to pull free moves. I'd also bring these ladders on a mostly free route with bolt ladders, like the Grand Wall, where I previously used slings instead due to the bulk of my heavier ladders.

Super light and packable!

Love them for the alpine. Light and packable enough to bring even when I am not sure I need them!

Great compact, lightweight aider!

Used for 2 Nose laps, one being a NIAD. Very functional, especially for its small size and weight!
