Great pattern

I’ve now made two of these. It’s a lovely style and is really good for layering. I plan to make more but I’ve lengthened the body by a couple of inches. I love the way straight stitch is used on the neck and hems. I’ve previously used a twin needle but never managed to get the tension right . Getty’s method is just perfect. The tees go perfectly with my two pairs of Worker trousers. Would highly recommend .

Lovely fit and design

The pattern is easy and beautiful, but I have a few reflections: I think the notches around the corners are unnecessary, so I only trace the notches around the sleeve and the neck. The neck can be a bit tricky to attach to the body with a serger, but I found that it is easier if you sew a straight stitch with your sewingmachine before finishing with your serger.
