Tick Remover by Hilltop Packs

This is part of a camping gift basket that I’m putting together for my son who loves to camp. This item appears to look like it will work should a pest come along, but it was taped to the receipt. It could have at least been in a little zipper bag. I was ready to throw it out because it came with a few other items. I thought it was the receipt.

Tiny. Super small. Threw in my med pack and can’t tell it’s there!

Could not remove tic

I was happy to receive this; it looked great, I liked the weight. However, when it came to use it, it wasn’t actually able to remove the tick. The narrow point wasn’t narrow enough and the tick (which wasn’t fully engorged) kept sliding through. I ended up having to (carefully) use the tips of my scissors to remove it.
