This is a step up from mason jars though I wish it were a little larger. I like the design and weighted lid. Perfect for quick pickling of onions and small cucumbers.

Nice, but …
It’s well made & solid, but it’s much smaller than pictured. Will work for a small amount (1 cup or so) of shredded carrot or cabbage, but not if the veggies are cut in medium-sized slices for pickled celery or turnips.
